For the third consecutive year, the Berne-based non-profit organisation art+château its next exhibition of contemporary art in an historic castle. Open until September 25th, Beyond Baroque is curated by Dr. Valentina Locatelli, with the assistance of Giulia Busetti.

FANTASTIC INTERIOR AT THE CASA ENCENDIDA – MONTEMADRID FOUNDATION

Fantastic Interior is made up of four scenes, interventions that take place throughout the year by four different artists, whose common thread is issues such as intimacy, self-care and the construction of subjectivity. Through the practice of these artists -Ad Minoliti, Marina González Guerreiro, Eva Kot'átková and Korakrit Arunanondchai-, the curator Rafa Barber Cortell invites us to think about the imaginary that has been created around the "inner world".

apexart is accepting exhibition proposals for its NYC Open Call from October 1–31, 2021. Five winning proposals will become apexart exhibitions presented at apexart’s NYC space as part of its 2022-23 exhibition season. Curators, artists, writers, and creative individuals, regardless of experience level or location, are invited to submit a proposal online.

ACT Meets is a series of periodical get-together sessions where the community meets to share ideas, knowledge and questions about the professional aspects of artistic practices. This Thursday, June 17th, join for a fascinating conversation with Los Angeles-based artist Gala Porras-Kim and London-based curator Sabel Gavaldon about using the art ecosystem’s intricate networks of stakeholders for bringing her projects to life.

“STOP PAINTING” -  PETER FISCHLI EXHIBITS A PANORAMA ABOUT RUPTURE AT FONDAZIONE PRADA VENICE

Described by Peter Fischli as “a kaleidoscope of repudiated gestures”, the project explores a series of specific ruptures within the history of painting in the last 150 years, intertwined with the emergence of new social factors and cultural values. The exhibition also intends to understand if the current digital revolution can also cause a new crisis of painting or, on the contrary, contribute to its renewal. Stop Painting is conceived by artist Peter Fischli with more than 110 artworks by international artists on view at the historic palazzo of Ca’ Corner della Regina, Fondazione Prada’s Venetian venue, from 22 May to 21 November 2021.
